Kathleen Cubley

Kathleen Cubley is the editor of KnittingDaily.com. She writes or edits three posts each week. Before coming to Knitting Daily, Kathleen had a twenty-year career in publishing in Seattle, Washington, and a seven-year career as an obsessive knitter. She also teaches knitting classes at her local yarn shop in Spokane, Washington. Kathleen’s other craft interests include cross-stitch, crochet, and paper crafts. She is one of the founding members of Women Who Run with Glue Guns, a craft group in Seattle, and she started Glue Guns East when she moved back to her hometown of Spokane in August, 2008.

Sandi Wiseheart

Sandi Wiseheart is the founding editor of Knitting Daily and edited the blog from 2007 to July, 2009. She is now the author of the popular Knitting Daily blog, What’s on Sandi’s Needles. Prior to her position at Knitting Daily, Sandi was the managing editor of Interweave Knits. She is a passionate knitter, spinner, crocheter, beader, and weaver. She is also a celebrated designer and her work has been published in Interweave Knits, Interweave Crochet, Beadwork, and Stringing magazines. A Colorado native, Wiseheart now lives in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada with her husband; their three-legged dog, Buddy; and three very vocal, very sweet cats.

Lisa Shroyer

Lisa Shroyer is the editor of Knitscene magazine, the senior editor of Interweave Knits, and a frequent blogger on KnittingDaily.com. Lisa is also a celebrated knitwear designer and her patterns have appeared in Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Interweave Felt, and Interweave Crochet magazines. She is working on a plus-size knitting book to be published in fall 2010 from Interweave, and she is a contributor to the book All New Homespun Handknit (Interweave, 2009). Lisa comes from a fiber-loving family, having been taught to knit when she was eight years old by her mother, Nancy, owner of Nancy’s Knit Knacks. Lisa makes an appearance on Knitting Daily TV Series 400 on public television. She lives in Cary, North Carolina.

Eunny Jang

A knitter since age three, Eunny Jang is the editor of Interweave Knits magazine, and host of Knitting Daily TV on public television. She is also an internationally-celebrated knitwear designer and two of her designs were voted as reader favorites in the Top 10 Best of Interweave Knits Readers’ Choice Awards. Prior to her career as magazine editor and television show host, her blog See Eunny Knits (eunnyjang.com/knit), was a must-read for online knitting enthusiasts, averaging 10,000 unique visitors per day. For fun, Eunny cooks, runs long distance, wakeboards, and follows the Yankees. She grew up outside Washington, D.C. and now lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Cecily Glowik MacDonald is a freelance designer who works at Classic Elite Yarns. After receiving her BFA with a concentration in painting, she moved to New York City in 1999 and took up knitting as a creative outlet. What began as a hobby soon became a passion, and then a career. Her designs have been published in Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Vogue Knitting, Knit Simple, Knit.1, Creative Knitting, and Cast On magazines. In addition, she has contributed patterns to the books Color Style, Simple Style, and Knitted Gifts (all published by Interweave), among others. She lives in Lowell, Massachusetts with her husband.

Melissa LaBarre

Melissa LaBarre

Melissa LaBarre is a lifelong crafter who lost interest in everything else when she rediscovered knitting five years ago. Since 2006, she has been chronicling her projects at www.knittingschooldropout.com. She divides her time between freelance design and working with adults with developmental disabilities. Her designs have been published in Vogue Knitting, Knit.1, and several of Classic Elite Yarn's pattern booklets. Melissa lives in Western Massachusetts with her partner and cats, none of whom are particularly interested in yarn.
