Hi I'm a newish knitter and horrible at math.
I found this pattern http://audm.wordpress.com/2008/11/03/evenstar-gloves/ and I would like to make it
thing is, the pattern is in a larger size and I got thin wrists.
Can anyone help with resizing this pattern to fit 6" (smallest section) wrist, or 36 cast on stitches in the round.
I don't think you need to put yourself through all that. I question her gauge. Too bad she didn't model them, so we could see what she considers a traditional sized wrist (21 cm = 8.27 in -- ???). But its very pretty, and I have just decided I will make a pair, too.
I think you should try smaller needles first (especially if you already have the yarn specified). This pattern calls for size us3 with a dk weight yarn. Maybe try size 1us (or even 0us) needles. Also, you could use a nice sock or fingering weight yarn, instead.
I'm going to use really small needles with some alpaca/wool blend that I have been trying to find a project for.
