    What does "ravel down" mean?

I recently downloaded the Cobweb Lace Stole pattern from the shop, and am excited to get started! One of the stitches marked on the chart, however, indicate to "ravel down."

Does anyone know what this phrase means?

The actual stitch (in case it helps) reads: "drop st from needle and ravel down to previous yo."

Does it simply mean I drop the current stitch, and pull one from below up to the needle? HELP!

OK, after spending more time looking for a defnition, it seems that I just drop the stitch and let it do it's thing, since it seems to always want to "ravel down to previous yo."

Is it really that simple? Drop the stitch and let it be?

I'm not familiar with with particular pattern, but I have made other items with a drop stitch. It seems strange when you first do it, but it leaves a nice decorative gap between the two adjacent stitches. It sounds like what you decided to do is right.

Yes, you drop the stitch and let it unravel all the way down to where it was cast on.  It really is that simple, drop it and let it run.
