Has anyone else picked up this book? I just received it and this is the coolest thing since circular needles.
So far I have only explored one yarn and two yarn examples... too cool, I can imagine many applications for this. I'm playing around with my crappy acrylic yarn that I use for working out pattern details, I took one deep red ombre and one mid tone lavendar and did the two yarn sample... this came out way cool, I can't stop looking at it and thinking what can I do with this knowledge.... it will come to me soon... I just know it.
I'm glad to hear it worked well for you. I just bought the book yesterday and have been reading the intro and first chapters, so it's still a little twisted in my mind. I'm going to pull out a couple of acrylic skeins and experiment myself tonight.
Knit on!
I have been trying this today and not having any luck. It's loose and I think the way I knit and purl (pick up the yarn to execute the stitch) is not working with this technique.
Any suggestions? I'd love to see this done on video.

I was having a terrible time trying to figure this whole thing out, then I searched You Tube and found, Knitting the stitch Below. It was a great help. I actually got a swatch made. Still working out the p1b, sometimes get the wrong part of the stitch but I'm sure I can do a project now, like one of the vest patterns. The video is for another pattern but the important part is there. She starts off too far from the stitches but when she gets to the k1b part she moves in for a close up. It has sound too. Check it out!

Also Anna, did you know there is a group on Raverly called :Knit one Below"? It is a great group and has lots of information. I know I got some good information and help there.
Yes, I bought it a few weeks ago. Haven't had a chance to try out the techniques yet.
