This is beautiful!  I just wish it was sized for my dh who is very tall with a 52" chest.

I have a question about the pattern for Robert's Houndstooth Vest.   I was reading the pattern and noticed that the yarn requires 3-4 balls of the dark color and 2 balls of the light color.   As I read the pattern, I thought the trim was in the dark brown and the body of the vest in light brown.   It seemed to me that the light brown would require more than 2 balls for the body of the vest.  I thought that the yarn requirements could be reversed in that the light brown would need 3-4 balls and the dark would need 2 balls for the trim.  I would appreciate your comments about the yarn requirements.   Thank you.    Diane   My email is lrerwin@msn.com

Looks like a great pattern, however the picture is so small I can't see any details!

My husband's chest size is 38".  He wears a medium.  The sizes for this vest are large and larger.
