I forgot to mention in my previous post to suggest you take the time to check out "Stash ans stash management" in the Forum. There are a lot of good ideas for organizing and storing all your materials which you will collect as you progress in your knitting experience. I highly suggest you read them. Enjoy

I agree with 'uaithne' who suggests using the library. I know every local library has a variety of books on knitting which you can check out and take home, so you can try out different stitches and knit at your convenience. I would suggest once you learn the purl stitch to try a shorter project at first. For one thing, you won't get bored

They don't take much time and shows someone you care about that they are being remembered in a small way but the receiver of the gift feels like they are being thought of in a big way because you took the

I am asking for suggestions on the proper way to display a CROCHET quilt on a wall. My concern Is to prevent it from stretching while hanging. Do you quilters use some special apparatus that will prevent it from stretching while hanging? If so, where can it be purchased? Attaching a cloth backing is not a problem. I would appreciate any suggestions

Hi bluemoonrevisited, Let us know when you start your reorganizing. Once you get going it really is fun. Better yet when you see the results. And thanks for writing too! Another one of the benefits is not buying something over again because you can't find it, or forgot where you put it. Mostly happens when you can't see your supplies. It really
